So many milestones to document, so little time!

There’s the birth, the newborn photographs, the family portraits, but whoa, don’t forget about the maternity photos? there are a million reasons to talk yourself out of this important milestone ( I feel like a whale, I don’t have time) but I happen to think this is one of the most important milestones to capture, and here’s why.

the calm before the storm

There’s something so magical about this time. All your hopes and dreams for this little miracle you are growing are written all over your face. As time goes by, and you get caught up in the day to day rearing of your children, you will miss these calm quiet days

self-care

Look at this session as a time to pamper yourself. You get to put on a pretty dress, do your hair and makeup, and feel beautiful. Take some time before the session for a pedicure or a salt scrub. It’s a great excuse for some much needed self-care. You deserve this mama!

your kids will thank you

I don’t know about you, but there are not very many pictures in existence of my mother pregnant. I can only think of one, and I absolutely cherish it. They will love seeing this time in your life and ask you endless questions about how they grew in your belly. To them, you are the most magical person in the world. Plus they get to see where they came from.

this time is fleeting

This is such a momentous time but time is fleeting, and before you know it, you will be awash in diapers and schooling and first dances, and graduations… You will want to remember this time. Take a moment to revel in what you are creating. This deserves to be celebrated. You are a miracle mama!
